Creating Your Own Digital Channel

A robust and effective digital channel is key to engaging and informing residents about technologies. Here are a few helpful tips:

  1. Select the Right Platform: Choose a digital platform that aligns with your target audience. This could be a dedicated website, a mobile application, or a user-friendly online portal. Ensure the platform is easily accessible via a QR code.

  2. Design a User-Friendly Interface: Create an intuitive and user-friendly interface. The design should facilitate easy navigation for the intended public user, allowing users to explore comprehensive information about the technology effortlessly via the DTPR Data Chain and any other information provided.

  3. Information Architecture: Organise the content in a logical manner, such as a data chain, highlighting the technology's key functionalities, and impact on the public space. Check out Data Chain Worksheet To help you gather the information

  4. Incorporate Feedback Mechanism: Integrate mechanisms for users to ask questions and provide feedback. This could include contact forms, chat features, or community forums.

As part of the original release of the DTPR standard, the following digital channel prototype was provided to aid and inspire users in creating their own channels.

We are currently working to make the HTML code for this prototype functional again, be sure to check back soon!
